Payment and Registration

  1. Students must pay only to the Acquire Centre Academy account(s). Payment is to be made before course(s) kick-off unless otherwise specified by the Accounts department.
  2. Payment receipt is sent to the student, immediately after payment is confirmed. The student is required to register via the Acquire Centre Student registration form which will be sent to their email address after payment.
  3. By submitting the Registration Forms, students accept the Terms and Conditions stipulated.
  4. After submitting a completed registration form, students would be assigned a unique Student ID number and subsequently be given Acquire Centre ID cards.
  5. Once assigned ID cards, students are to be with their ID cards at all times on Acquire Centre premises. Any student without their ID cards attempting to enter Acquire Centre’s premises may be denied entry or re-entry, including use of Acquire Centre facilities.

Attendance Policy 

  1. To complete courses, students must attend at least 70% of the live sessions, complete all assignments, and achieve a passing grade of 75% on the final assessment.

Code of Conduct

  1. Ensure to mute your microphone when you are not speaking to minimize background noise and distractions.
  2. Students are required to turn off or silence phones when in class.
  3. Students are required to maintain decorum in class; all comments and communication should be respectful.
  4. Unruly students would be removed from the class and suspended for the subsequent week of classes. Repeat offenders would be expelled from learning platforms

Dress Code

  1. Maintain a professional appearance that is neat, clean, and respectful of the learning environment.
  2. Avoid indecent clothing, or clothes with offensive slogans, revealing attire, or clothing that could be a safety hazard.

Prohibitions

  1. Alcohol and Drugs: Possession, sale, or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or substances that impair judgment is strictly prohibited on the premises or during online classes.
  2. Smoking and Tobacco Products: Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted inside the training center or within a reasonable distance of entrances/exits.
  3. Weapons: Possession of any weapon is forbidden on the premises.
  4. Violence and Threats: Violence, threats of violence, or any form of harassment towards staff, instructors, or fellow students will not be tolerated.

Facility Use & Management

  1. Use Acquire Centre facilities responsibly and with care. If caught misusing Acquire Centre facilities, strict reprimands would be given, at the discretion of the academy.
  2. Report any damages or malfunctions to equipment or facilities immediately.
  3. Food and drinks are only permitted in designated areas.
  4. Students are responsible for cleaning up after themselves in common areas. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by disposing of waste in designated bins. Report any spills or messes to ensure prompt cleaning.
  5. Refrain from littering inside or outside the premises.
  6. Lost and found items should be reported to the reception.

Trespassing

  1. Only authorized personnel and registered students are permitted on Acquire Centre premises outside of designated class times.
  2. Access to restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
  3. Acquire Centre is located within a larger estate that includes private residences and other businesses. Students are expected to be respectful of the entire estate and refrain from trespassing on any property not belonging to the Acquire Centre.
  4. Clearly defined boundaries of the property will be communicated to students. This may involve signage, clear pathways, or designated entrances/exits.
  5. Trespassing on private property outside Acquire Centre boundaries may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of enrollment, and may also involve legal repercussions from the property owner.

License to Use

  1. Course materials are copyrighted and are not to be shared with a third party without permission. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing of course materials (including videos, handouts, and assessments) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of access to the course.
  2. Students will access course materials from the Learning Management System (LMS). Students are advised to read their notes ahead of the class sessions.
  3. Students will have 365 days of access to the course materials.
  4. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, including passing the final assessment, you will receive a digital certificate of completion.

Changes and Updates

  1. Course content may change over time; we reserve the right to modify materials, assignments, or assessments. Students will be informed of any changes or updates.

Technology Requirements

  1. Students are required to have a computer with at least 4GB of RAM (this may vary depending on the course), a modern web browser, and a functioning webcam.
  2. For online classes, students are encouraged to secure reliable internet access throughout the course.
  3. Our course materials are compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating system
  4. We recommend using Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Mozilla Firefox for optimal performance.
  5. All course communication will be sent to your registered email address. Please ensure you check it regularly.
  6. We routinely send out surveys that assist Acquire Centre and our partners in evaluating students’ learning experiences. Acquire Centre requires students to participate and fill out surveys that are sent to them.
  7. Students are responsible for bringing their own devices and internet connection. However, Acquire Centre may provide an internet connection, only at its discretion, and charges may apply.
  8. Downloading or uploading illegal content, engaging in excessive personal browsing, or online activities that disrupt the network is prohibited.
  9. Acquire Centre’s internet connection is for educational purposes only.
  10. Students are responsible for practicing safe browsing habits to protect themselves from malware and online threats.

Complaint Procedure
